DTVKit is a not-for-profit software organisation providing royalty-free DVB software components to the global digital TV ecosystem. We deliver commercially proven, production-ready software that powers over 200 million devices worldwide.
Standardising the TV Foundation Across the Supply Chain
Founded in 2013, DTVKit was created to provide an open, collaborative foundation for client broadcast software development. Our mission is to remove commercial and technical barriers in the industry by enabling developers, manufacturers, and operators to build flexible, future-ready products without the constraints of licensing complexity or royalty obligations.
By uniting hardware vendors, software integrators, OEMs, and broadcast partners under one membership-driven model, DTVKit delivers the shared software infrastructure the industry needs, built and maintained by the people who use it.
